Kingwood offers 500 acres of private parks and nature preserves, 75 miles of greenbelt trails for walking and biking, 19 swimming pools, three youth sports parks, a private boat launch and pier fishing, private stables, three athletic clubs, performing arts theatre and more than 100 Kingwood Clubs and organizations. One of the youth parks and private stables are located right across the street from the Barrington entrance. Most villages in Kingwood have their own small parks and swimming pools. Kingwood also has several larger parks for Kingwood residents, including: River Grove Park, Deer Ridge Park, East End Park and the Creekwood Nature Area. Kingwood has sports activities for every interest including baseball, soccer, basketball, swimming, softball, golf, tennis, etc.

Kingwood is home to Houston’s largest golf facility. Kingwood Country Club and the Deerwood Club offer five championship golf courses, two pro shops, four swimming pools, tennis courts, an indoor/outdoor facility Golf Advantage School and two fine-dining facilities. Membership will be available to residents of Barrington Kingwood.
