• Kingwood is conveniently located 30 minutes from downtown Houston, just 15 minutes from Bush Intercontinental Airport via Highway 59

Community Development:
The developer and its consulting engineers have established criteria for the finished floor elevations at Barrington to be at an elevation of eighteen (18) inches above the FEMA 2006 100-year flood plain levels. The 100-year flood level for the Barrington community surrounded by the Lake Golf Course ranges from 55.7 to 56.7 (elevation based on 2001 datum adjustment)

FEMA (Federal Emergency Management Agency) issued its Letter of Final Determination on December 18th, 2006, to Harris County of the final flood elevation determination for the county and incorporated areas, re-mapping the community. The development plan for all new homes in the Barrington community is illustrated below.
